Experience
As a former education major, I have volunteered for over one hundred hours with the Leon county school system from levels k-12, assisting teachers with grading and tutoring. As well, I have been a volunteer with the Lake County library system reading program for children for three years. Being a college student, I know the importance of being familiar with Microsoft Office, balancing school and fun, and the importance of planning for the future. I have a strong background in all facets of history, with importance placed on American and World History. I have also completed the core course for entrance into the major of Education. I have an SAT score of 1280, with a 680 on the verbal section. As well, two AP English classes with scores of 3 on both, which did qualify for college credit. I am currently on the Dean's List at Florida State University and a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. I would love to be able to help any child, no matter the age feel that sense of accomplishment when finally grasping an important concept. As well, to present every subject in an engaging, exciting way so as to make it easier for any child to learn.
