In 2017, I got my B.S. in Psychology from Florida State University, minoring in English. I graduated summa cum laude. Currently, I am seeking a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work at Florida State University, and am on track to graduate in Fall 2019! My plan is to one day open a community counseling and tutoring center for youths.
Experience
I have various experience in tutoring English, specializing in grammar, syntax, diction, and all other things related to writing. From 2016 to 2017, I tutored the student athletes at FSU in English and Psychology, until I graduated with my bachelor's degree in Psychology, minoring in English. After that, I moved back home to Boca Raton, FL.. During the year 2017-2018,I taught and tutored high school English courses at Score Academy, a private school and learning center in Boca Raton, FL. I was also among a team of essay experts in August 2018. For a week, we went out to different high schools in South Florida to help juniors and seniors write and perfect their college application essays. I absolutely love tutoring! For me, it's not just about helping the students understand the material; it's about teaching the students to value their education, to believe in their capabilities and to be independent learners. Many times, I'm faced with students who feel hopeless with their particular subject, and nothing is more fulfilling than having them walk out of the session feeling like they can conquer the very thing that they came in feeling like they would never have a handle on.

Hobbies
I love all things writing, reading, and psychology! When I was 15, I self-published my first 300 page novel. My goal is to write many novels in my life. I absolutely love spoken word poetry as well. I'm also a huge movie and TV buff. I love Marvel films, and pretty much all superhero shows (especially Supergirl). I also enjoy traveling, cuddling with my dog (Kovu), and singing karaoke.
