I attended The Florida State Univeristy, where I receieved a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing, and minored in Communication Disorders (American Sign Language.) I also attened the University of Phoenix from which I earned a MA Ed. in the Area of Curriculum and Instruction.
Experience
I have had quite a bit of tutoring experience in both my personal and school lives. I would like to be a tutor because I feel that students often do not know what they want or who they want to be. It is often difficult for them to navigate their educational way if they feel ill-equipped. As tutors, we are there to show the the tools and assist in their learning and understanding--two areas that may seem similar, but to a student who needs help, may be worlds apart.

Weekdays in the morning, Weekdays after 2PM, Sunday after 3PM

Hobbies
My hobbies consist of being a wife and mother to 5 (yes, 5) kids! Their ages are 7, 6, 5-year-old twins,and a 4-year-old. I have been a stay at home mom since they were born, although after my youngest starts school soon, I will be turning over a new leaf and seeing what is out there for me! I enjoy teaching and learning and am looking forward to being a help in someone's education.
