Tutored for reading and writing. Received A's in the subjects I listed for tutoring and enjoy the subjects. I know how much it helped me to succeed when I had a tutor, and I want to be able to help others to succeed. I have taken numerous writing courses such as the basic English 101 and 102, as well as several creative writing courses and journalism and advanced journalism.I have taken biology and a biology lab in my AA and greatly enjoyed the class and received an A. I am very diverse in the study skills I personally use and therefore am able to find ones that work well for others. It is very important to me to be organized and have a planner. The first step to success is being able to find the material you need and know when you need to use it. Service is something that is very important to me and I try to always find was to help out my community. I was in the National Honor Society in high school. I was a Girl Scout for 13 years and received the highest award, the Gold Award.

Hobbies
I enjoy outdoor activities such as camping, hiking and backpacking. I love to read and to write. I love to sing and sang in college choirs in Arizona and sang in a praise band in Florida. More recently I have been interested in social justice and have been volunteering with Catholic Charities in Tallahassee and working with their Christmas Connection program which provides 500 needy families with food, clothing and other items that they need to have a merry Christmas.
