I have a AA from Tallahassee Community College and attended nursing school at Lively Technical Center. I have been a nurse for over 26 years, teaching patients every day of my career in areas of anatomy & physiology, health, and personal care. I am IV certified, CPR/BLS/AED certified and CORE trained as an Administrator for nursing facilities. I continue learning as I obtain Continuing Education Units regularly and absorb as much knowledge as possible!
Experience
I have been a teaching nurse for over 26 years. I have homeschooled two of my own children through graduation. I meet teaching challenges every day with creativity and perseverance. I take education very seriously but realize that learning is fun and retention is a friend to creativity. I chose a career that requires me to be a qualified teacher; one that can communicate difficult and abstract ideas in a simple, easy-to-remember way. I bring that style to my tutored students. I love to mentor my students, providing confidence and motivation in their learning.
