Geology and Earth Science can be deceptively difficult for those who aren't heavily involved in the field. I have a strong background in Earth Science. Particularly environmental geology. Relevant classes I took in college include: Physical Geology, Historical Geology, Invertebrate Paleontology, Sedimentation and Stratigraphy, Sedimentary Basin Analysis, Mineralogy and Crystallography, Igneous and Metamorphic Petrology, Geologic Hazards and Assessment, and GIS & Remote Sensing. I can also help out students in general science and I'm comfortable helping students with math up to College Algebra I currently work as an environmental geologist for a private engineering firm. My specialty is groundwater and soil remediation and GIS applications to remediation projects.
