I enjoy working one on one with students and tutor various social sciences subjects and preparation for tests such as the ACT and SAT. Standardized testing is my favorite area to help in because you can measure progress in how the student's scores improve, and higher scores help them get into their college of choice. I think any student can succeed if they are motivated to and put in the required time and effort. When I tutor, I provide the basic tools so the tutee can work towards better helping themselves.English and math are strong subjects for me. I helped middle school students in South Africa in these areas, as part of after school programs there. I'm currently working to complete my Bachelor of Science in Education and graduate from the University of Miami. My degree includes a few specialties such as geography, sociology, human and social development, and urban studies. When I am not hard at work studying or tutoring, I enjoy many outdoor activities. These include bicycling, running, doing yoga, and spending the weekends on the beach. I also like going to new places and meeting new people.
