Experience
I am a tutor with extensive experience studying and teaching a variety of different subjects. I graduated from Merrimack College with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Psychology. After I graduated, I taught middle school Social Studies and Science in Memphis. I worked there for two years, at which point my love of traveling led me to Thailand to teach ESL and English on a Fulbright Scholarship. Now that I have returned to the United States, I am helping to develop instructional materials for elementary school teachers. I am comfortable teaching many different subjects, including Algebra, Geometry, Anatomy, Biology, Reading, Writing, American History, Psychology, Geography, Public Speaking, Science, English, Social Studies, and Math. I am able to teach at an elementary school and middle school level. I have a deep passion for teaching, and I enjoy challenges. I have a passion for helping young students develop the vital skills they'll need to find success throughout their time in school. I believe that learning should be active. Thus, I make sure that my lessons are interactive, impactful, and engaging. Outside of school, I like to run, bike, hike, play guitar, and watch soccer. I especially like watching my favorite team, Chelsea.
