I am a Registered Nurse! I received my degree in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2013 (Go Badgers!). Afterwards, I passed my NCLEX and started work in the field! I quickly gained experience in Pediatrics, Gynecology, Postpartum and Medical/Surgical acute care. Starting my career in such a diverse setting was difficult, but it left me with tons of knowledge to share! Nursing involves evaluation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, and implementation. However, one of the most important aspects of nursing is critical thinking. Critical thinking not only involves knowing the information but knowing how and when to use it. I look forward to not only helping my students master the information but teaching them how to correctly apply it to real-life nursing scenarios!
